Habe ich gerade im Netz gefunden bei SAT Europa. Man kann sich natürlich sich fragen, ob jetzt die gleiche Hysterie wie bei ALLCAMs abläuft oder ob der Umsatz angekurbelt werden soll?
"Aston ceases Seca CAM production Sales of the Astoncrypt CI CAM for the Seca/Mediaguard encryption format have highly risen, in reaction to news that French manufacturer Aston have ceased CAM production. Interference from Canal+ Technologies and Bertlesmann, the joint owners of Seca/Mediaguard, stopped production under legal issues, as Aston did not obtain copyright permission to use the encryption. It was earlier announced that Canal+ Technologies are producing CI-Modules for Seca encrypted programming, but would be tailored to individual packages, for example Canal Satellite France, through a PIN code. The introduction of the Astoncrypt CI CAM last year, meant that viewers no longer needed to buy an often expensive dedicated Seca receiver. The CAM has increased the piracy of Seca encrypted services, mainly offered by Canal+, which indicates that another universal package Seca CI CAM will not be released. Astoncrypt Seca/Mediaguard CI CAMs are still available from SAT-Europa for £84.00."
