Hallo,

I'm from Finland and I just updated my POP C with 2.94 V firmware found here. Can you tell me what is the meaning of the ID number in front of the filename. In this page there is a file easy78_300a.zip for T-model and easy81_294v.zip for C-model. In IqZone there is a v72_294z.zip and *NEW* v72_331i.zip. Is 72 for S, 78 for T and 81 for C or can I install the new 3.31i it to my C-model without problems? You can answer in german.

One can install this software on all POP. This software can however no CONAX!

ID71 -> POP C Betacrypt
ID72 -> POP S
ID76 -> POP S Cryptoworks
ID77 -> POP C
ID78 -> POP T Conax
ID81 -> POP C Conax

Is there a newer firmware than 2.94 V for the C or is this the last one? There is a couple of spelling mistakes in it and I wonder if one can use a hexeditor to fix them?

As long as there is only spelling mistakes. One could repair those with a Hexeditor. Unfortunately my Finisch is not so good. In Germany there is the problem by QAM64 to QAM256 is changed over. QAM256 does not know the software.
