Hi,

you cannot save the config from your linuxtv box and there isn't any ftp or telnet connection possible to the box. The only way is a small tftp service but there is the 2 gb file limit. With TFTP you can only save the program list.
You can also connect to the box with the serial console and can you use few commands from the internal busybox.

Long time ago I do that...

I think there isn't possible to do an manual scan. You must set the symbolrate and NIT transponder manually. The settings in this box is for Liwest (an Austrian provider).
