@derrick: Das CI Modul hat sehr wohl eine PCMCIA Schnittstelle, es wird aber ein von PCMCIA vorgesehener Modus mit 8 Bit benutzt, so das 8 bit IO für den TS Stream benutzt werden können. Dafür spricht auch das jemand gepostet hat ( ich weiss nicht ob hier ) wie sich das Universal CI meldet. Die Kommunikation via TransportConnections in der EN wird sowohl von der STB und dem Notebook verwendet, das Update via SBR und Notebook benutzt also dieselben PCMCIA IOs. Wenn du willst , ich habe die EN als PDF vorliegen.

hosts shall use the detection mechanisms described in [6] to determine module operating voltage. Hosts shall follow
the rules for type of socket according to whether they provide 3.3v working - Section 3.2 of [6]. Hosts need not support
the detection mechanisms for CardBus PC Cards, but may optionally do so - Section 3.3 of [6].
A.5.5.2. Pin assignments
When in memory card mode, just after reset, the pin assignments in the left hand column of Tables 4-1 and 4-2 of [6]
are used. When the module is configured as the Common Interface variant during the initialisation process, the
following reassignments are made: The pins carrying signals A15-A25, D8-D15, BVD1, BVD2 and VS2# are used to
provide high-speed input and output buses for the MPEG-2 multiplex data. All other pins retain their assignment as
an I/O & Memory Card interface, except that IOIS16# is never asserted and CE2# is ignored.[/quote]
